6 Emo Albums You Need To Hear Right Now

Oh boy, this is my first post in six months. I was seriously considering letting go of the whole blogging thing, but fortunately I stumbled upon a few damn good albums that prompted me get out of (blogging) retirement. Since me and Anna are both busy, we will be blogging more scarcely in the future, but if you're curious what we listen and like at the moment, go check our Facebook page.

Whether or not you grew up with bands like American Football, Brand New, The Get-Up Kids, or (just like me) you happened to stumble upon some of the newer bands, it doesn't matter. The fact is that the emo genre is experiencing something of a comeback. Well, it happened a few years ago, and it seems that it's not going to slow down any time soon. And I'm happy about that. Thanks to the Internet a batch of fresh new bands is being exposed to a much wider audience. And the last couple of years saw the releasie of some really good records. I've blogged about some of these, but I'm now going to present you with 6 albums that in my mind are a must hear if you're really into emo. I'm not saying they are the best, I'm saying those are my favorites, and you should really check them out. Scroll below and enjoy!

The Hotelier - Goodness

Tiny Moving Parts - Celebrate

HEY RUIN - Irgendwas mit Dschungel

SPORT - Slow

Wavepool - After The Fire

Палисад - Истории

P.S.: new Dikembe album next month! Yay!
