A Pregnant Light - Deep Lavender Dreams

I've wanted to post this for quite some time, but various obstacles prevented me from doing so. I first heard Damian Master a.k.a. A Pregnant Light after the release of the excellent All Saints' Day EP. Since then I kinda started following him. What I always liked about his music is the raw dramatism and primal emotions emanating from his music. His Deep Lavender Dreams album is no exception from the rule. An intimate, dark cacophony of painfully beautiful sounds and words that pierce through your mind and soul, leaving you permanently scarred. At times it's overwhelming to listen to Deep Lavender Dreams, and to experience all this swirl of emotions at once. But believe me, it's worth every minute of it. If you're a fan of blackened metal, but you want to hear it with a twist, go for this one. It's too damn good to miss.
