The Drums, one of 2010's indie revelations are an american indie-pop band from New York that draws inspirations from the likes of The Smiths, The La's and Beach Boys. With an album full of catchy songs is no surprise that the Drums caught the attention of many with it's signature sound. I hardly doubt that there's someone who haven't at least seen "Let's Go Surfing" on TV. It was even on the frakkin' MTV! And if that's not enough that song was featured in the british hit tv series "The Inbetweeners" for the entire third season. Now how cool is that? None can't deny that the song's damn catchy. Thing is that The Drums are full of such songs that can stuck in your head for days. Amidst the mediocrity that is the modern music of today The Drums are definitely a breath of fresh air. If you're a fan of the britpop sound you just can't miss that band.
